Find the Prefab(s) you want to install in the ‘RuneFox/Sprinklers/_Prefabs’ folder and drag it onto your scene then onto your avatar so that it becomes a child object of your avatar.
To reposition the sprinkler simply move either the parent prefab object, or the RootTarget object within the prefab.
Here we’re merging the FX Animator and Parameters of the Sprinkler onto your Avatar using Avatars Manager 3.0. If you’ve manually added other complex assets to avatars before this part will be familiar to you.
Open up the VRLabs Avatars 3.0 Manager window by selecting it from the VRLabs dropdown.
Drag your avatar into the Avatar field on the manager window or select it from the popup by clicking on the little target on the right side of the field.
Expand the FX section and click the button at the bottom that says Add Animator to Merge. Find the FX controller relevant to your sprinkler in the ‘RuneFox/Sprinklers/Animator’ folder. It should share the same name as the prefab of the sprinkler. Drag it into the field under the ‘Merge Animator Mode’ sub-section
Click Merge on Current.
Click the second tab on the left (Mousing over it should show the word Parameters).
Scroll to the bottom until you see the field that says ‘parameters to copy’
Drag the ‘Sprinkler_Name_Params’ file from ‘RuneFox/Sprinklers/VRC_Assets’ that matches your sprinkler prefab to the field mentioned above.
Click Copy Parameters.
Find your avatar’s menu asset. This is the Menu that you can see in your avatar’s descriptor.
Add an additional submenu control to this menu and drag either the ‘Sprinkler_Name_Menu’ asset from ‘RuneFox/Sprinklers/VRChat_Assets’ that matches the sprinkler prefab into the sub menu field on this control. You can also use the Sprinklers icon as this submenu’s icon. The icon is located in the ‘RuneFox/Sprinklers/Textures/Icons’ folder.
