The Halo is primarily Gesture and Contact. It is not very desktop compatible.
Position Lock - Makes it so you can’t change the position of the halo through gestures and contacts. You can still change the position through the Position Menu.
Aim Reticle - Adds an aim reticle when the halo is in your hand and ready to shoot.
To make the Halo visible and interactable toggle the ‘Enabled’ toggle in the Gunner Halo Menu.
Once the halo is visible you can grab it from your head by making a ‘finger gun’ gesture (Pointing with thumb up) with the hand above your head where the halo is.
You can put it back on your head by putting the hand w/ the halo above your head and making an ‘open hand’ gesture.
You can switch hands by putting your hands together and making a ‘finger gun’ gesture with the new hand and an ‘open hand’ gesture with the other.
There are 4 modes for the halo. Single Shot, Charge Shot, Rapid-Fire, and Shield
Single Shot - To shoot a single shot, make a ‘finger gun’ gesture (Pointing with thumb up), then a ‘finger point’ gesture (Pointing with thumb down), then quickly back to a ‘finger gun’ gesture. If the rectangles of the halo reach the center of the halo before you release you will do a Charge Shot instead of a Single Shot.
Charge Shot - This is the same as the single shoti.e. finger gun → finger point → finger gun but you hold the finger point gesture until the halo starts spinning. If you do any gesture other than finger gun after the halo has started charging it will cancel the charge shot
Rapid-Fire - Make a Peace sign with the hand holding the Halo to enter rapid-fire mode. The Halo will keep shooting til the peace gesture is no longer held
Shield - Make a Fist with the hand holding the Halo to enter shield mode. This will block particles that have collision turned on.
Note: this only works on PC due to colliders being illegal on quest avatars. The visuals will still work on Quest, just not the collider.
